The Process
How It Works
Every Amader Alo piece begins the same way — with your story. What follows depends on how much of it you want woven in. Here's what that looks like for two very different brides.
A Something Blue Anklet
One bride. One personalized piece. Eight to twelve weeks.
You find Amader Alo through a bridal boutique and spend a few minutes in the gallery. A few anklets catch your eye — delicate, meaningful, nothing like what you've seen anywhere else. You save them to your portal and fill out the interest form, mentioning that you'd love to incorporate something that honors your grandparents.
We meet at a coffee shop. You tell me about them — married over sixty years, the couple you've always looked up to, the relationship that showed you what a marriage could be. You chose your dress in part because it reminded you of your grandmother's. You want them with you on your wedding day in a way that feels real, not decorative.
By the end of the conversation the piece has taken shape: a Luxe gold-filled anklet carrying two hand-cast resin charms. The first holds a photo from your grandparents' own wedding day, their initials and wedding date set into the back. The second holds your engagement photo, your initials and wedding date on the back. One charm looking back. One looking forward. Your something blue.
Within a few days your portal updates with a detailed design quote and a hand-drawn sketch of the piece. You review it, ask questions, request any changes. When it feels right you approve it — your contract is sent, your deposit confirms your place, and the work begins.
From there your portal is where everything lives. You submit the photo directly through it — the one of your grandparents on their wedding day, the one you've looked at your whole life. You see updates as your piece moves through each stage. You approve the engraving proof digitally before it's finalized. A few weeks later you come to pick it up in person.
You wear it down the aisle. Sixty years of marriage, held at your ankle, on the day yours begins.
A Full Bespoke Wedding
One complete wedding party. Custom design from scratch. Twelve weeks or more.
You and your fiancé got engaged at the botanical garden where you had your first date — the one with the sprawling wisteria arbor you walked through on the afternoon everything changed. You want that in the jewelry. Not a generic floral charm, not something anyone could buy — something that captures the specific feeling of that place, rendered into a motif that lives on your wrist and your bridesmaids' ears and your mother's necklace on the day you get married.
We meet for two hours. You bring photos — the garden in bloom, your dress, your bridesmaids' colors, things you've been quietly collecting for months. We talk through the full picture together: what you want to wear, what you want each person in your party to wear, how connected you want it all to feel. Your mother wants something more classic. One bridesmaid wants earrings only. The flower girl needs something sweet and simple. We map all of it until every person has a vision that's theirs and still part of the whole.
Within a week your portal has a complete project timeline, a detailed design brief capturing everything we discussed, and a hand-drawn sketch of your motif — the wisteria rendered with enough precision to become a physical thing. You review it, we refine it together, and when it feels right you approve it. Your contract is sent, your design fee confirms the start, and the work begins.
Because the design is fully original, your piece goes through a prototype process — built first in base materials so the shape, scale, and weight can be evaluated in person before anything is made in your final materials. We meet, you try it on, we make notes together. A second prototype follows with the refined design. When you approve it, production begins across every piece — yours, your bridesmaids', your mother's, the flower girl's — each one made for the person wearing it, all of them connected by the same wisteria thread.
Because the wisteria motif is already yours by this point — drawn, refined, approved — carrying it further is simply a matter of where else it belongs. The champagne flutes you'll raise at the reception. A nameplate at the head table. Small details that tie the whole day together in a way only a fully bespoke engagement makes possible.
A few weeks before your wedding we meet for final approval. Every piece is ready.
After the wedding, your professional photos come through the portal. Among them is the one taken at the altar — you and your partner beneath the wisteria arbor where it all began. That photo becomes an engraved piece, a keepsake of the place that started everything.
The arbor that changed everything, on the day your life together started.
A Few Things Worth Knowing
All consultations are by appointment in the Raleigh area. In-person time is part of what makes this work — the conversation is where the piece begins.
Timelines are real. Signature pieces take six to eight weeks, Personalized pieces eight to twelve, and Fully Bespoke a minimum of twelve. Full Wedding packages are scoped individually in your contract. These aren't padded estimates — they're what it takes to do it right.
This is intentionally small. One or two brides at a time, by design. If you're thinking about reaching out, don't wait too long.
